As with all soilless mixes, this mix has nearly no nutritional value and for best results, it must be used in conjunction with a regular feeding program. Please remember pine bark absorbs Nitrogen so for best results select a fertilizer that is high in Nitrogen so it does not deprave your plants from this essential nutrient.
