If you have never heard of Calathea fucata, you are not alone! This is a species which is extremely hard to come by and we felt very fortunate when we were able to get our hands on a plant a few years ago. These have all been grown by cutting and the picture shows an average example of what one of the very few plants we have on offer will look like. Due to the rarity of this plant, they are being sold by age and NOT by size. As always, we will distribute these from the largest to the smallest so get your order in quickly if you want the biggest plants!
For optimum results tropical conditions are preferred but the plants can be grown as a houseplant indoors with some TLC. A greenhouse setting would obviously be preferred for this plant.
Well established plants in a 6" pot. Please note these plants are heavy and can weigh up to 4lbs each.
