Plants are an excellent size and growing in 5" pots. A great size for shipping. All plants are seed grown using Pap #8 and Pap #5 (sometimes referred to as RA8 and RA5)
This listing is for growers choice which means we will select the largest and fullest plant available to fulfill your order. Photos are an accurate representation of the size of plants that are available as of today April 13, 2023. To ensure you receive large plants, you will want to order early, as mentioned above orders are fulfilled from largest to smallest.
SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW ABOUT THESE PLANTS:. THESE HAVE BEEN GROWN IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED GREENHOUSE UNDER EXCEPTIONALLY BRIGHT LIGHT AND ARE THE LARGEST OF ALL THE SEEDLINGS. AS THESE HAVE BEEN GROWN UNDER SUCH INTENSE LIGHTING (DAYLIGHT AND LED LIGHT) THE LEAVES ARE NOT AS DARK AS THEY SHOULD BE, BUT THE PLANTS WE HAVE SET ASIDE TO POSSIBLY BREED WITH IN THE FUTURE DARKENED UP SUPER FAST WHEN PLACED UNDER NORMAL PAP LIGHTING CONDITIONS. YOUR PLANT MIGHT ALSO ARRIVE WITH A VIBRANT RED/PEACH EMERGENT LEAF, THIS IS A 'SIDE EFFECT" OF THE LED LIGHTING USED IN THE GREENHOUSES AND WITHOUT THOSE LIGHTS YOU WILL NOT SEE THAT COLOR AGAIN. These plants have been grown up for us by a Bromeliad specialist which is why they have been grown under such exceptionally strong light levels, but it was the only way to get therm to grow super fast and boy did they do just that, these guys are 5x bigger than the plants we have been growing under normal conditions
Plants are shipped via UPS 3 Day Air within mainland USA, and USPS to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. If you want to upgrade your shipping to a faster service, please email us after you have made your purchase and we will send you a revised invoice.
As many of you are aware, UPS and USPS updated their insurance policies for live plants in 2022 and any damages other than a lost box is now specifically excluded on their policy. we have been packing plants since 2002 and will always pack any order received to arrive in great condition, but with that being said we have zero control over how the mail carriers handle, move, store or treat our packages while in their care and we will not be held responsible for any damages caused by the mail carriers. We video the packing of every box for liability purposes to protect all parties. You can buy third party insurance for your order (we are grandfathered in on an ABIC policy) on our website, if this additional coverage interests you please search for "Shipping insurance" on our website and be sure to read the description. MINOR COSMETIC DAMAGES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER ANY POLICY,
Please know how to grow these plants before buying. We will not be held responsible for decline due to improper culture ir incorrect growing conditions once these plants leave our facilities. We assure the arrival of healthy, happy plants, it is your responsibility to keep them that way. If the mail carrier damages your plant, you have 24 hours to make us aware of the situation from the recorded date of delivery.
